The
M24 SWS is the military version of the Remington 700
rifle. The name SWS stands for Sniper Weapon System.
It is the standard-issue sniper rifle in the U.S.
Army (since 1988) and the Israeli Defence Forces.
Remington is currently developing an improved version
of the M24 rifle. The A2 features a detachable 10-round
magazine, side and top-mounted Picatinny rails, barrel
modifications designed to accommodate a suppressor,S
and an improved stock with a built-in cheek guard.
As of February 2005, the M24A2 remains in prototype
phase. Utilizing
our patent pending universal back panel, storage of
M24s in Combat Weapon Storage Systems allows for rapid
reconfiguration of rack accessories for efficient
M-24 storage.
Combat
Weapon Storage Systems will meet the storage requirements
for all versions of M24 sniper rifles including storage
of most accessories attached to the M24 including
optics, scopes, and more.
Our
lockable solutions offer Abloy security locks and
a hasp for a pad-lock and
meet OPNAVINST 5530.13C & AR 190-11 for arms storage
requirements.
Combat
Weapon Storage Systems are available as stand-alone
fixed storage systems or as high density storage systems
mounted to moveable carriages for a compact shelving
system. Our background as storage system experts allow
our system designers to implement the most efficient,
space effective armory design available.
